In August, your relentless generosity wrapped its arms tighter around the people of Togoville. You grew our capacity to care for the poor and advance the Kingdom through your incredible prayers, love, and support.
In the joyful presence of a king, a mayor, and a host of civic leaders and friends, the McElveens cut the ribbon on the Hornsby Prayer and Equipping Hub at our West Africa Regional center.
This facility is home to a new WAR room devoted to around-the-clock prayer and worship. The Hub also offers an education and resource center with computer-based training programs and print media for personal and spiritual development. Finally, a covered pavilion is now available for community events, private gatherings, and Vapor team activities. This long-awaited addition marks the culmination of a 14-year vision for this outreach center wielding influence over the broader region. Thank you for bringing this community opportunity for intense prayer and massive development.
Just as this location became complete, a new one was given life. Tribal, civic, and educational leaders joined a host of pastors, Vapor team and board members, and the McElveen family for the ceremonial groundbreaking of what will become Vapor’s seventh international center and its second in West Africa.
In the weeks surrounding the event, more than 350 people gave their lives to Christ through outreach initiatives in the community. Jesus is being proclaimed in this village named after a voodoo deity. Light is shining in the darkness. Souls are being saved. Critical needs are being met. And your love is fueling it all.
