Testimonials & Pictures

At the end of each trip, we ask participants to fill out an anonymous questionnaire about their experience. Here are some responses we have received from the questionnaires.

“This trip took me out of my comfort zone. I am normally guarded and like alone time and personal space. This trip, I pushed myself to touch, to hug, to speak and to get close to many people. I feel God moving in me and changing my perspectives in so many areas. Thank you for this opportunity.”

“After being in Haiti for a few days, I feel a bit exhausted, a little overheated, but mostly overflowing with the love I feel for the Haitian people and the love I felt in return. I didn’t expect to make connections with the people as quickly as I did, and I immediately fell in love with the Haitian people and culture.”

“I absolutely LOVED getting to interact with the kids in every setting I possible could! I am also moved by worshipping God in music, so the spontaneous music night was AWESOME!”

“In America, in my workplace, people exist, but are dead inside. They go through the motions of life, but are not living. While in Kenya I saw life. People were living to glorify God. They were not dependent upon circumstances, but based upon a true relationship with God.”

“I am thankful for this opportunity to travel to Kenya to see a Vapor center. I feel even more compelled to advance the gospel no matter where I am.”

“I am just in awe of what God is doing through Vapor. He is using it in magnificent ways and it’s so astonishing to really know where it started and where it is now. Continually, I’m blessed by Vapor and I wish and pray that I can somehow be as much a part of it as possible with what and how God has equipped me.”

“I am feeling a little overwhelmed by what the Lord is doing in Haiti and what He is doing in my life. My wife and I are at a crossroads in our life and this trip made it clear what the Lord calls us to do as Christ followers. I am excited to see where the Lord is leading Vapor and our family.”

“What impacted me most on this Vapor trip was watching the pure joy the center leader and the Haitian people had when they were worshipping and talking about Christ. It made me realize that I should have that kind of joy and light when I hear the gospel because it is happy news.”

“I felt like I had stepped into the pages of a National Geographic magazine. An awareness of poverty is not the same as living in it for a week! Seeing the extent of poverty, but also the scope of Vapor’s impact was just amazing. Seeing little children fill water containers that would help sustain their families, putting names and faces on the statistics. I was also impacted by the reality that, in spite of the poverty, Jesus is there! He is with them in the midst of their hardship, and he loved the people there enough to bring Vapor, clean water, and HOPE to their community.”

“I am very thankful that I was able to visit Haiti and visit with these amazing people. Through Vapor I have gained a new perspective of God and His church. There is no doubt that our Father will continue to bless this ministry and use it for His glory.”
